Columbus Township Fire & Rescue

The East Columbus Independent Fire Department (ECIFD), also known as Columbus Township Fire & Rescue, is a group of men and women dedicated to saving lives and protecting property.  We proudly serve Columbus Township and Bartholomew County with a combination of career staff and volunteers.

CADET PRogram

A youth program for young men and women, ages 14-18. The cadet program fosters leadership, teamwork, and self confidence. Train alongside our firefighters to learn firefighting and emergency medical skills. For more information, visit the Cadet page.

Training Center

We have launched the Columbus Township Training Center where we offer both EMS and firefighter classes taught by professional, certified instructors. Visit the Training Center page for more info and a list of classes currently being offered.
